The 5 MW/10 MWh energy storage system, located in Zhangji Town, Laohekou City, Xiangyang, Hubei Province, was installed by AlphaESS and is part of the 60 MW/120 MWh centralized energy storage station project. It provides flexible resources, such as peak shaving and valley filling, for the local power system. Additionally, it is the first grid-connected centralized energy storage project in Hubei Province and is significant in achieving the carbon emission peak and carbon neutrality goals.
