AlphaESS has improved the renewable energy microgrid system in Koh Jik, a fisherman's village in Thailand. Previously, the community relied on lead-acid batteries. However, AlphaESS provided a 50kW/266kWh STORION-T50 energy storage system with LFP batteries, solar PV and meters, reducing diesel consumption and providing stable power. The new system reduces the monthly diesel consumption by 90% and guarantees a stable power supply with a significant decrease in electricity costs for the 400 inhabitants.
