The developer is constructing 100 ground-mounted mini-grids to bring clean energy to rural communities in Kisii and Nyamira regions over the next five years.

To date, 13 mini-grids have been completed, delivering a total of 130 kW capacity and providing first-time electricity access to more than 1,000 people.Once fully operational, the network will supply up to 1 MW of clean power, contributing directly to Kenya's NDC goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030.
